Former Professional Scout and current University of North Carolina Director of Pitching Performance and Development, Assistant Coach Jason Howell spent 5 years within the Boston Red Sox Organization as a player and has nearly 20 years of college coaching experience. His stops include 3 College World Series appearances, (2 National Championship Series) with the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, 5 years and 3 championships with the UNCW Seahawks, 7 seasons with Georgia Tech where he served as recruiting coordinator on the 2019 #3 National Seed Yellow Jackets and Mid Atlantic Supervisor Scouting with the Chicago White Sox.
